Since its inception in December 2013, Slowly Radio has gracefully emerged as a soothing melody in the online radio landscape. Founded in 2014, our station was born with the ambitious goal of realizing a long-cherished dream: to provide a dedicated space for slow music, a non-aggressive genre that beckons relaxation and tranquility.

The journey of Slowly Radio was initiated by Claudy Scoufy, a radio enthusiast with extensive experience as a technician and presenter in Belgium. With over 25 years of experience as a general DJ, he decided to breathe life into his project and create a radio platform where listeners could rejuvenate and be carried away by enchanting melodies.

The “cool” adult format of Slowly Radio transcends generations, showcasing musical hits from the 80s to the 2000s, complemented by a retro touch with titles from the 60s and 70s. We also prioritize highlighting lesser-known artists deserving of discovery. Our programming spans genres such as RnB, Soul, Smooth Jazz, Lounge, and occasionally features a hint of slow Reggae.

Slowly Radio is designed to accompany listeners wherever they go—whether at work, home, or in the car. Our radio can be enjoyed seamlessly during daily activities, offering a diverse selection of songs beyond exclusive relaxation or meditation chillout-style tracks. As a copyright-respecting radio station, Slowly Radio adheres to current regulations and is registered with two rights management organizations: SACEM (Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers of Music) and SPRE (Society for the Perception of Equitable Remuneration). These organizations ensure that artists and creators are fairly compensated for the use of their works broadcast on our airwaves.
