Madonna has been forced to postpone her world tour due to a severe bacterial infection that led her to spend several days in intensive care. The announcement was made by her manager, Guy Oseary, in a statement released on Instagram.
According to the statement, Madonna developed this bacterial infection on Saturday, June 24th, requiring intensive medical care. While her health is gradually improving, the 64-year-old singer remains under medical supervision.
As a result, all of Madonna’s commitments, including her tour titled “Celebration,” have been suspended until further notice. Her management team is working to provide further details on the rescheduled tour dates and the shows that will be rearranged.
Madonna’s world tour was set to begin on July 15th and include four nights in London starting from October 14th. Unfortunately, fans will have to be patient and wait for the announcement of the new dates.
