The Shawn Mendes 2025 world tour will kick off on August 2 at the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, and continue until October 17 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The tour will stop in major cities including London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Munich, Boston, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Vancouver, and San Francisco.
This tour is Mendes’ first since the cancellation of his Wonder: The World Tour in 2022, due to mental health concerns. Mendes stated: “I feel that the time away allowed me to return and realize how incredibly special it is to be able to perform live.”
For the European leg of the Shawn Mendes 2025 world tour, artists MARO and Lubiana will serve as opening acts. In North America, Eddie Benjamin will join Mendes on tour. Mendes expressed his admiration for these artists, saying they embody qualities he values as an artist.
The Shawn Mendes 2025 world tour is also an opportunity for the artist to present his fifth studio album, Shawn, released in November 2024. This album, more personal and stripped-down, includes tracks such as “Heart of Gold,” “Nobody Knows,” and “Why Why Why.”
After a series of intimate concerts in 2024, this tour marks Mendes’ return to major international stages. Fans can expect a mix of new songs and classics like “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “Lost in Japan,” and “Treat You Better.”
